Our mission is to ensure the success of children in jeopardy by empowering families. Families First provides empowering and sustainable solutions for children and families--solutions that improve child well-being and family self-sufficiency. We achieve this by focusing on three impact areas: 1.) Child and Youth Permanency - to ensure our children have a safe, secure environment with unconditional adult support, we provide adoption services, foster care and residential group homes. 2.) Supportive Housing - we work collaboratively with other agencies to provide long-term self-sufficiency with housing and supportive services for chronically homeless families. 3.) Parenting & Family Life Education - offering training and affordable counseling to equip parents and families with critical skills that build strong, healthy relationships.
