AID Atlanta (www.aidatlanta.org) is the largest and most comprehensive AIDS service organization in the Southeast, serving more than 80,000 Georgians. Founded in 1982, the non-profit, community-based organization serves individuals infected and affected by the AIDS epidemic and educates those most at risk for contracting the disease. The mission of AID Atlanta is to empower HIV positive Georgians to live independent, productive lives through its comprehensive support and services, and to deliver world class educational programs that help stop the spread of HIV by reducing at-risk behaviors in targeted populations.
