For 37 hours in August, talk will make a difference beyond words in the life of a child. On August 27 and 28, Scott Slade, host of “Atlanta Morning News,” and fellow News/Talk 750 WSB Radio on-air personalities Neal Boortz and Clark Howard will broadcast the ninth annual Care-a-Thon live from the Aflac Cancer Center at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s Scottish Rite campus. The fundraising broadcast will benefit research and programs at the AflacCancerCenter and Blood Disorders Service of Children's, ranked among the nation’s top five childhood cancer and hematology programs.

%newline%Beginning at 5 a.m. August 27 and continuing through 6 p.m. August 28, listeners will hear not only the voices of WSB Radio’s personalities, but also the courageous voices of children and families who have benefited from care received at the AflacCancerCenter. The Care-a-Thon will also feature special guests and opportunities to bid on premier auction items.
