Good Mews Animal Foundation Cat-Tree SponsorshipGood Mews is pleased to announce our Cat Tree Sponsorship program. We are working hard to try to replace our older cat trees with new Crijo Pet trees. The Crijo Pet Products are a great addition to our shelter as they are easier to keep clean and sanitary and our cats absolutely love them! They offer so many different options for our cats to lounge upon, scratch the fine sisal and have different hide-away tunnels for our shyer cats! Click on the link or contact Emily Petway if you would like more information or would like to donate to our Cat Tree Sponsorship program.

Silent Auction Items needed for Good Mews Kitty Kegger!Good Mews, a non-profit, no-kill cage free shelter rated “Best Place to Adopt a Pet” by the readers of Atlanta Magazine for the last two years, is celebrating our 21th anniversary! On Saturday, November 21st, we will be commemorating this milestone at our Kitty Kegger Auction at Indian Hills Country Club, 4001 Clubland Drive, Marietta, Georgia. We hope to make this event one of our largest fund-raisers of the year to enable us to continue caring for the hundreds of cats who come through our door each year. We are seeking donations of items to be placed up for bid and hope that you will find it in your heart to support our worthy cause. Bidders like both practical and luxury items and services; most popular are unique items you cannot get elsewhere, such as lunch with a local celebrity, a private lesson from an expert, VIP passes to concert or sporting events, artwork, autographed items and vacation getaways. Business and individual sponsorship are also available. Check the website for details under the “Events” menu. In return for your donation, you and/or your company will receive: • A listing in the 2009 Kitty Kegger program; • The opportunity to place your pamphlets and/or business cards with your item during the auction for advertising purposes; • A listing in an issue of Purrs & Prattlings, our quarterly newsletter distributed to Good Mews donors and volunteers. Please contact Lisa Domzalski at domzalski@comcast.net with any questions. Thank you! For more about Good Mews, please visit www.goodmews.org. P.S. Gift certificate donations must be valid for a minimum six-month period effective November 21, 2009 to ensure bidders have ample time to redeem them.
