Humane Education at Lollypop FarmThrough Humane Education programs at Lollypop Farm, we seek to achieve our vision by fostering compassion and respect for animals. - Our Farm Camp and Girl Scout Badge Program reaches over 700 children each year who learned about Lollypop Farm and responsible pet care. - Every year, teachers from Rochester City Schools complete our Humane Education Professional Development Program in order to bring important lessons back to their own classes. - Shelter tours educate visitors of all ages on basic pet care, dog bite prevention, and pet overpopulation, as well as Lollypop Farm history and services. - Our newest program is Reading Education Assistance Dogs (R.E.A.D.). Students in select after-school programs can improve their reading skills by reading books out loud to dogs without fear of being judged or teased.
