The LEAGUE Georgia, a state office of The LEAGUE Worldwide, was launched in Jan., 2009 to provide Georgia students with service learning instruction and experiences in philanthropy and volunteerism that will impact local communities and help instill in K-12 students a lifelong habit of \"giving back.\" The LEAGUE trains teachers to integrate practical experiences and lessons during classroom time using The LEAGUE's 3,000 turnkey, web-based lesson plans (which are aligned with state standards) and many additional resources.
