The LEAGUE's Learning to Give curriculum includes more than 3,000 service learning and philanthropy lesson plans for grades K-12. All lesson plans are easy to download from The LEAGUE's website at no cost to you. They are turnkey, fun and aligned with state standards. This makes it simple for teachers to integrate lessons into virtually any subject matter or grade level, while addressing their state's \"service learning\" and/or \"character education\" requirements. The LEAGUE works hard to secure funding that makes it possible to offer the lesson plans and other resources at no cost, via its website. In states, like Georgia, where a local staff position is funded, targeted training and local technical assistance are also provided to schools year-round. In Atlanta, seed funding from New York Life is enabling The LEAGUE Georgia to offer these targeted services during the 2008/2009 7 2009/2010 school years.
